Rules for using KarDo, Pakistan’s marketplace for rides, errands, pickup, and local services.
Terms & Conditions v1.0 · Effective 2 July 2026
These documents are provided for transparency and operational clarity. They are not a substitute for independent legal advice.
KarDo is a Pakistan-based technology marketplace that helps customers request everyday services and helps independent workers, drivers, and riders respond to those requests. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the KarDo website, mobile apps, and related services (together, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using KarDo, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
KarDo may update services, features, and policies over time. The version and effective date shown at the top of this document apply to your use.
You accept these Terms when you create an account, sign in, post a request, accept or submit an offer, upload verification documents, use wallet or rewards features, or otherwise continue using the Platform after we publish updated Terms.
Where the app shows a consent message at sign-in or onboarding, continuing after reading the linked Terms and Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement.
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement under Pakistani law and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account, keeping your phone number secure, and notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.
One person should not maintain multiple accounts to evade suspensions, commissions, rewards limits, or verification requirements.
Customers use KarDo to post rides, tasks, grocery or medicine pickup requests, repairs, and related marketplace requests. You must provide truthful pickup/drop-off details, lawful descriptions, and reasonable cooperation during active services.
You are responsible for being available when a worker or driver arrives, reviewing final bills or quotes before approving purchases or work, and paying agreed amounts where payment is handled outside or through Platform-supported flows.
Workers, drivers, and riders using KarDo are independent service providers, not KarDo employees, agents, or partners. You choose when to go online, which offers to send, and whether to accept posted work subject to Platform rules.
You must maintain any licences, vehicle condition, insurance, and legal permissions required for your services. KarDo may require verification before enabling certain roles or features.
KarDo provides technology to discover, match, track, verify, notify, dispute, and settle certain Platform activities. Except where KarDo explicitly states otherwise in writing, KarDo is not the seller of groceries or medicine, not the repair contractor, not the transport operator, and not the employer of workers or drivers.
KarDo does not guarantee that any request will receive offers, that any worker or driver will accept, that items will be available, that repairs will succeed, that rides will be uninterrupted, or that users will behave lawfully or safely.
KarDo may investigate complaints, moderate accounts, and assist with disputes, but that does not automatically make KarDo liable for every loss between users.
Depending on your area and account type, KarDo may support cab rides, city-to-city shared seats, quick tasks and errands, grocery pickup, medicine pickup, home repairs, worker verification, customer rewards, worker wallet and commission accounting, KarDo Credits, notifications, and related support features.
Feature availability may change by city, verification status, app version, or operational limits. Beta or flagged features may be limited, paused, or withdrawn.
Cab rides may be posted with a budget or fare expectation. Drivers may submit competing offers with fare and ETA. The customer selects an offer to proceed. Fares, routes, passengers, and notes must be accurate.
Live location may be shown during an active ride so customers can track progress. Drivers must drive safely, follow traffic laws, and use vehicles that match their declared profile and verification.
City-to-city seats connect customers with drivers offering shared intercity rides on published routes and segments. Seat availability, departure timing, segment fares, and driver acceptance rules are shown in the app.
Customer ride rewards and certain vouchers may apply only to services explicitly supported in the app. Unless stated in the app at checkout, intercity seat fares may not include the same reward discounts as cab rides.
Quick tasks let customers post local help requests with description, location, timing, and optional budget. Workers may bid with price and message. Customers should not post dangerous, illegal, or inappropriate tasks.
Voice notes, photos, or other attachments you provide may be stored and shown to relevant workers or support staff for fulfillment and safety review.
Grocery orders show estimated prices from catalog or store listings. Final store totals may differ because of availability, weight, substitutions, promotions, or taxes. Riders may contact you from the store to confirm the final bill before purchase.
You should review the final bill and items before authorizing purchase. KarDo does not own grocery inventory and is not responsible for store pricing errors, stock shortages, or product quality.
KarDo provides logistics help to pick up medicines from pharmacies. KarDo does not prescribe medicines, recommend treatments, verify medical suitability, operate a pharmacy, or provide medical advice.
Where prescription medicines are involved, you are responsible for valid prescriptions and lawful purchase requirements. Riders and pharmacies may refuse unlawful requests.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions. Do not use KarDo as a substitute for emergency medical services.
Repair and skilled-work providers on KarDo are independent. KarDo does not guarantee workmanship, parts quality, pricing fairness, or outcomes.
Where a final quote flow is used, you should review labour, parts, and scope before approval. Off-platform payment may be required unless the app explicitly supports another method.
All users must comply with Pakistani law and Platform rules, provide accurate information, communicate respectfully, and use the Platform in good faith.
Workers and drivers are responsible for safe service delivery, honest offers, lawful conduct, and compliance with road, shop, pharmacy, and trade rules applicable to their work.
KarDo supports marketplace pricing models including customer budgets, worker bids, driver offers, segment fares, estimated cart totals, and approved final quotes. The amount you see before acceptance may not be the final payable amount where store bills, parts, or negotiated changes apply.
Promo codes, reward vouchers, and discounts apply only when valid, enabled, within service rules, and successfully attached before acceptance or checkout as shown in the app.
Many services on KarDo are cash-first or settled directly between users after acceptance. KarDo may also support worker wallet balances, commission deductions, and online top-ups through payment partners such as PayFast where enabled.
Wallet top-ups are subject to payment provider rules, reconciliation delays, failed payment handling, and fraud review. KarDo is not responsible for bank, wallet, or telecom outages outside its control.
Workers and drivers may have a commission wallet used to account for Platform commission on completed jobs or rides. Commission rates and settlement rules are shown in the app and may change with notice where permitted.
If your commission wallet balance is negative or below required thresholds, KarDo may restrict sending offers, accepting work, or using certain features until the balance is restored through top-up, earnings, credits, or other permitted settlement.
KarDo Credits are promotional commission-offset balances for eligible workers and are separate from cash wallet balances. Customer rewards are promotional points or vouchers for eligible customers and are separate from worker wallets.
Credits and rewards have no cash value unless explicitly stated, may expire, may be capped, and may be reversed for fraud, abuse, error, or policy violations. KarDo may change reward earn rates, redemption thresholds, eligible services, and discount caps.
Cancellations may be allowed within time windows shown in the app. Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or abuse may lead to fees, restrictions, or account action.
Refunds, if any, depend on service type, payment method, completion status, and investigation outcome. KarDo may use dispute tools, support review, and account enforcement to address complaints but does not guarantee a refund in every case.
KarDo may require CNIC, licence, vehicle, shop, skill, or selfie documents for certain roles. Documents may be reviewed manually or with automated checks. Approval improves trust signals but does not guarantee safety, identity, skill, or future conduct.
You authorize KarDo and its authorized reviewers to store, review, and use verification materials for onboarding, fraud prevention, compliance, and enforcement.
Use common sense and local safety practices. Meet in safe locations where possible, verify identity through in-app acceptance flows, and contact emergency services for urgent danger.
KarDo may remove users, requests, or content that appears unsafe or unlawful. Report issues through disputes or support channels.
You may not use KarDo to request, carry, sell, or facilitate:
The following are prohibited:
You retain responsibility for descriptions, messages, images, audio notes, dispute statements, and other content you submit. You grant KarDo a limited license to host, display, process, and review that content to operate the Platform, ensure safety, and resolve disputes.
KarDo may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
KarDo uses location to show pickup points, estimate routes, match nearby workers, and display live progress during active jobs or rides. Foreground location is used when you choose places on maps or when the app requests location for an active service.
Customers and workers may see live tracking only as needed for an accepted or active service, subject to in-app rules and contact-privacy controls.
Workers and drivers may be asked to allow background location only while an active job, cab ride, or supported city-seats trip is in progress. This helps customers track progress if the phone is locked or another app is open.
KarDo does not use background location for ordinary browsing, marketing, or inactive accounts. You can stop background sharing by completing, cancelling, or exiting the active service and by disabling permissions in device settings, subject to operational limits.
KarDo may send SMS, push notifications, in-app alerts, and emails for authentication, booking updates, verification, disputes, and promotional messages where permitted by your preferences.
After an offer is accepted, contact details may be revealed so users can call or message externally (for example phone or WhatsApp). KarDo is not responsible for off-platform communications.
Promotions and customer rewards are discretionary programs. KarDo may modify, suspend, or end them, set geographic or service limits, and reject redemption attempts that are fraudulent, duplicated, or incompatible with other discounts.
KarDo may experience downtime, delays, map errors, notification failures, or bugs. Services depend on third-party networks, devices, stores, pharmacies, and payment providers.
KarDo does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
KarDo may warn, limit, suspend, or terminate accounts for policy violations, risk, non-payment of commission, fraudulent verification, abuse, legal requests, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the Platform at any time. Some records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law, KarDo and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the Platform.
KarDo’s total liability for a claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to KarDo for Platform fees or top-ups in the three months before the claim, or (b) PKR 5,000, except where law requires otherwise.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. KarDo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the extent allowed by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KarDo and its operators from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform, your services as a worker or driver, your posted requests, your uploaded content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Users should first try to resolve issues in good faith using in-app dispute tools where available. KarDo may review evidence, messages, and activity logs and take account action, but KarDo is not an arbitrator of every private payment dispute.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Courts in Pakistan shall have jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.
We may update these Terms by posting a new version with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
Questions about these Terms can be sent to the contact details shown at the bottom of this page.
These Terms version 1.0 are effective from the date shown at the top of this document unless a newer version is published.
